How it all started...
Bedrock Community Church began in 2008 with a simple desire—to live out authentic faith and community in Bedford, Virginia. What started as a handful of small groups gathering in homes quickly grew into a church family meeting in local schools. Along the way, God opened doors for Bedrock to find a home at the Bedford YMCA, and later at Liberty High School. From the very beginning, our mission has been to love and serve our community, build believers to further the gospel and build churches around the world.

Bedrock Community Church in Bedford is a vibrant, gospel-centered church committed to making disciples who love God, love people, and advance the Kingdom in everyday life. Planted in 2008, Bedrock Bedford was founded with a simple mission: to be a church built on the unshakable truth of God’s Word and sent out to serve its community with compassion and purpose. Since then, God has multiplied that mission far beyond Bedford, allowing the Bedrock family to plant 11 other Bedrock churches across the country and around the world. At the heart of Bedrock’s rhythm of ministry is a simple pathway: ENCOUNTER the glory of God through corporate worship, EXPERIENCE life together through small groups, and ENGAGE the world with the Gospel through service and evangelism. Today, Bedrock Bedford continues to be a sending church—investing in local outreach, global missions, and intentional disciple-making—while welcoming people from all walks of life into a warm, authentic community where Jesus is the center of everything.

Bedrock Roanoke was planted from Bedrock Bedford in 2012. As part of the Bedrock Network, Bedrock Roanoke shares a passion for biblical teaching, heartfelt worship, and meaningful discipleship that leads to real-life transformation. Their mission is clear: to bring rescue and restoration to Franklin County by the Gospel of Jesus. Everything they do flows from this heartbeat—whether gathering for worship, serving their neighbors, or walking alongside people in their faith journeys. Guided by the vision to be disciples who make disciples who change the world, Bedrock Franklin County seeks to equip believers to live out their faith boldly and intentionally. As part of their commitment to reaching all people, Bedrock Sarasota also includes a vibrant Spanish-speaking congregation that worships and serves as a unified part of the church body. Together, they strive to make the Gospel accessible to every neighbor, every family, and every generation—cultivating a community where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, and live on mission for His glory.

Bedrock Nicaragua is a global extension of the Bedrock Network through a deep and ongoing partnership with Because We Care Ministries, serving as a hub for Gospel impact across the Somotillo region and beyond. This ministry center is home to a thriving Christian school, an accredited college, and a vital training ground for local pastors who are being equipped to lead and disciple their communities. Bedrock Nicaragua exists to strengthen the Church in Central America by investing in education, leadership development, and the proclamation of the Gospel. Through this partnership, lives are being transformed, leaders are being raised up, and entire communities are experiencing the hope of Jesus in tangible and lasting ways.

Their mission is to walk with people as they take their next steps of faith, offering a place to explore, grow, and experience the transforming love of God.

Logo’s Church in Dillon, Montana was born from a sending partnership with Bedrock Bedford, beginning with a church-planting residency in Bozeman and culminating in its official planting in Dillon in 2023. Located in the wide expanse of Beaverhead County, Logo’s Church exists for one ultimate purpose: the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ and the advancement of His Kingdom. Their ministry is built on the conviction that the Church is far more than a building or a Sunday activity—it is a community of believers walking together through both the joys and the struggles of following Christ.
