At Bedrock Community Church, we believe the mission of God begins right where we live and extends to the ends of the earth. Through our local and international missionary partners, we joyfully join in God’s work of making disciples, meeting needs, and sharing the hope of Jesus with every community we can reach. From serving families and ministries throughout Bedford and the surrounding area to supporting pastors, missionaries, and kingdom efforts across the globe, we are committed to living sent. Our church family prays, gives, and goes so that the gospel continues to move forward—near and far—for the glory of God.

Jeff, Candace, Elijah, Kirk, and Joshua WALTON

The Walton Family are the Directors for the Humphreys Hospitality House serving the US Army Garrison (USAG) Humphreys military community in South Korea by offering food, fellowship, and love to those who walk through their doors. They share a meal, worship, and Bible Study each Friday at the Hospitality House. Monthly, they host a board game day and a ladies’ craft day on Sunday. They encourage and challenge people to grow deeper in their relationships with Christ, through mentorship, discipleship, and Bible studies. They also seek to partner with the local base chaplains to meet the spiritual needs of military personnel and their families. They strive to fulfill the Great Commission by providing a home-away-from-home where they share the gospel and their lives with the USAG Humphreys community.

Jim, Kami, Austin, Gage, & Micah SCOTT

The Scott Family is reaching coaches and athletes with the Love and Gospel of Jesus Christ through the common interest of Sports. They provides devotions, bibles, encouragement, Biblical character traits, camps, and drinks/snacks to Middle and High School sports as well as Community Events

Leo & Rebecca (Becca) BRUNO

Leo works as the South Roanoke Valley Area Director, being responsible for FCA’s presence in Roanoke County, Roanoke City, and Franklin County. His mission is to ENGAGE, EQUIP and EMPOWER this generation through sports and faith, creating a lasting impact in the lives of coaches and athletes.

Thomas & Heather BROWN

Thomas Brown has been leading Deeper Water Ministries since 2018. The mission is about connecting people into a deeper life with God by disconnecting them from the world through water sports and high adventure outdoor activities.

In June of 2019, Mike left church ministry to regroup and refresh as he looked at future goals, including creating Covered. In 2021, he committed himself full-time to this ministry and has logged hundreds of hours in service to Bedford County law enforcement. He is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Virginia Sheriff's Association, and the International Conference of Police Chaplains.

We are heading to Nicaragua this Summer

Join us on an unforgettable mission trip to Nicaragua as we partner with local ministries to bring the hope of Jesus to communities in need. This year, we’re offering two back-to-back trips—June 20–27 and June 27–July 4—so even more people can step into what God is doing. Throughout the week, our teams will serve in villages, meet practical needs, share the love of Christ through relational ministry, and encourage families with the gospel. We’ll also have the incredible opportunity to proclaim God’s Word on a radio station that reaches four countries across Central America—multiplying the impact far beyond where our feet can go.
