Our Team
Jonge Tate
ELDER
Jonge is part of our founding elder team who responded to God’s call to start the Bedrock movement of churches which began in September of 2008. He and his family moved to Bedford in 2006. Jonge and his wife, Lynnea, met in Altavista, VA while serving as summer counselors to children at a camp called The Master’s Inn in 1992. They both responded to the call of God to full-time ministry at The Master’s Inn and have been serving the Lord since. Jonge loves the attitude of Caleb found in Numbers 14:24 and seeks to live in such a way that shouts — It’s all about Jesus! He loves hunting, fishing, woodworking, traveling with his wife, cycling, and a good dog!
Philip Biles
ELDER
Philip and his wife Felicia are blessed to be part of the Bedrock family. Having moved here from Texas in 2021, they are thrilled to be back on the East Coast where they both are originally from. They have two adult children and one granddaughter who also lives here in the area. Their heart is for families and desire to see the Lord heal and grow families in all stages of life. Philip enjoys running and cycling all around the area at any pace and with anyone, as well as helping Felicia pick up and deliver items in her antiquing endeavors.

Dan moved back to the area and joined the Bedrock team in the fall of 2024 after a 20+ year ministry at River Valley Ranch, a Christian camp and retreat center, where he served as the Director of Marketing. He enjoys any type of adventure that leads to a great story that he can embellish for years to come.

Josh has had the honor of serving on the team at Bedrock since 2019 in Student Ministry. Josh loves being a part of students’ lives and coming alongside parents to disciple students to a genuine relationship with Jesus. Josh and his wife Sydney have been living in the area since 2015. Sydney serves as a nurse, and recently they welcomed their wonderful boy Malachi and daughter Naomi to the family. Josh loves what he gets to do, and the people he gets to do it with. His passions have always been ministry, students, and sports. Thankfully he gets to combine all these passions serving as Student Pastor with the Bedrock church family, as well as being involved with coaching, teaching, and FCA in Bedford. Josh is an extrovert by nature so please, whether it’s Sunday morning or elsewhere, please come and introduce yourself to him and say hello.

Lenore Field
KIDSROCK DIRECTOR
Lenore began serving the families of Bedrock in 2021. She and her husband, Jason, have a passion for children. They firmly believe that their place in the body of Christ at Bedrock is to bring Him glory and to help as many young ones as possible come to know Him while discovering their place in Kingdom service as well. Jason and Lenore have enjoyed the great privilege of raising and homeschooling their four children. By God’s grace, they all survived and are now serving Him with their own unique giftings. Lenore enjoys all things family, especially when it involves a rainy day, a porch swing, and a cup of coffee.
Sarah Carter
